Fall Scents We Can’t Get Enough Of
Fall is upon us. From the smell of pumpkin spice filling the leaf-filled sidewalk outside of Misha’s to getting to pull my cashmere and boots out from behind my closet - it’s my favorite season. Fall also means transitioning from my light, citrusy summer scents to more spicy and sensual scents that really capture the coziness of the season. We discovered Antica Farmacista Fragrances while at NYNOW last month, and now I’m obsessed.
Marilyn Monroe was once quoted as saying that the only thing she wore to bed was Chanel No. 5. This fragrance gives me Marilyn Monroe vibes. I think that if this perfume had been around when she was, she would have said she wore this to bed instead. With notes of leather, blackberry, crème-brulee vanilla, cognac, and amber, this intoxicating scent will leave a sensory imprint reminiscent of chandeliers and sophistication. I will be wearing this on nights out paired with heeled boots, chunky jewelry, and red lipstick.
Cozy cashmere in a bottle. This reminds me of snuggling in warmth with my Hunny. This is my everyday scent this fall. It smells so good; I find myself smelling my wrist all day long to enjoy the scent over and over. With notes of creamy white musk, amber, white florals, vanilla, and sandalwood, this comforting scent just may sneak its way into my summers.
Lastly, if you love earthy scents, this is your jam. Notes of alpine herbs, orange leaf, juniper earthly oakmoss, cumin, and basil, this is the scent of the forest, but prettier. Antica calls it wellness in a bottle, and we would have to agree. I have the travel size in my purse and spritz after working out for a burst of freshness.
