Get Your Home Organized For the Holidays

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to think about getting organized for the holidays!

Kitchen

Get your kitchen and pantry holiday ready! You might be doing a little more hosting this year than you did last year, so now's the time to check your supplies. Platters, wine glasses, paper products are all things you'll want to have on hand and easily accessible. Now is also a great time to stock your bar, plan for baking, and shop for non-perishables!

Decorations

I'm not quite ready to decorate for Christmas just yet, but I will pack Halloween away this week. My recommendations for decorations are the same, no matter the holiday - use clear bins, label everything, and categorize by season. Now is also a good time to inventory what you have for any upcoming events/holidays - edit what is broken or you don't need anymore.

Guests

Prepare your guest spaces now, so you won't have as much to worry about as we get closer to Thanksgiving. I recommend keeping just one extra set of sheets and towels on hand in order to keep things clutter-free. If you don't have closet or drawer space, baskets are a great way to contain. Make toiletries accessible by utilizing the vanity, and if you have the space, we love the idea of creating a guest coffee station!
