Getting Ready To Get Ready for the Holidays

As the holiday season approaches, we often feel overwhelmed by the amount of holiday-themed products everywhere. In the face of this glut, we recommend paring down to just the basics and essentials. You should go through your closet before the holiday season and see whether the pieces are warm, whether they are festive, and are completely necessary to have. It is good to have a closet clean out almost every season to refresh your memory of what you own. The same goes for your beauty products. For example, pick out a couple eyeshadows and see whether you are comfortable using them over the next season. For me, this means I see whether I have certain colors like a shimmery gold or a subtle maroon color.Trends that I enjoy for the fall/holiday season are gingham prints, soft turtleneck sweaters, and some great, light wash jeans that can easily be paired with a simple sweater. Another trend I’m absolutely obsessed with is wearing big fuzzy coats with some jeans and sneakers. We think Doc Martens are making a comeback right now and are adorable paired with a cute plaid dress or skirt. Sneakers that stand out are also great when paired with a simple outfit. As for hair trends for the upcoming season, we’re partial to darker colors like caramels and browns with subtle highlights. We believe you should color your hair a little bit darker for the fall and winter because it tends to pair better with all the outfits you will be most likely be wearing over the colder months. If you’re feeling more adventurous, then you could try something like dark maroon brown. Whether you’re looking for a simple tweak, some overdue maintenance, or something brand new, the team of stylists at Bazzak are here to help!
