Five Things We’re Loving for Holiday Tables and Entertaining
It’s the most magical time of the year, which means at Helen Olivia, we are covered in tree sap, hot glue burns and glitter. But, somehow, we’re still feeling merry and bright and in good holiday spirits. A true Christmas miracle!
In our business, the month of December usually begins with a flurry of activity as we rush to install Christmas garland and mantels in client’s homes. The middle part of the month is packed with dozens of holiday parties and fancy soirees. And, the end of the month Is when we catch our breath and refocus on what we really love: creating beauty for holiday tables.
Here are five things we’re loving for holiday entertainment:
Hostess Gifts
Hello, last-minute gift giver. I see you… I am you. We just restocked with new shipments of paperwhite plants, amaryllis plants, ivy topiaries, and gorgeous white orchids.
Table Centerpieces
This year we took a gamble and rolled out some unconventional color palettes for the holidays. Don’t worry, the classics are still available, but so are fun options like sugar plum, which is a delicious blend of mauve and blush.
Family-Style Seating
If you’re planning for family-style seating, we’re excited to offer miniature versions of our full-sized designs. Both our julep cup and bud vase collections are perfect for anyone juggling a table full of platters, or looking for a more versatile option.
The Finishing Touches
For anyone who loves the accoutrement, we’re bringing back a host of fun candle options. Beautiful taper candles, votive candles and fun accessory options are all available as add-ons to your floral orders.
Winter Wreaths
Fresh wreaths are still flying out the door, but so are beautiful faux options. This year we leaned into modern metallic options that are great transitional wreaths to carry you well into January and February.
We’re happily taking holiday orders until December 23, so give us a ring (703- 548-2848) or shop the complete Helen Olivia collection online.
Merry Merry, Friends!
