Here’s What To Bring To Your Next Dinner Party
Apparel and jewelry for years have been what we’re best known for at Kiskadee, but it is our gifts that really helped us get through the pandemic. Customers knew that they could come by the nest for a family-friendly puzzle, a lavender pillow spray, or even sparklers that turned a backyard fire pit into a burst of rainbow colors.
Lately, we’ve seen a new trend in what our customers want when it comes to gifts, and we couldn’t be happier about it. The trend? Thoughtful gifts for dinner parties! As someone who can’t cook if her life depended on it, bringing a side dish to a gathering is not an option for me. So, as you can imagine, I was relieved when we received our latest shipment of giftables, perfect for your next dinner party!
Here are some of my personal favorites (and there’s much more to choose from in-store)!
Spartina Wine Holder 36.00
A bottle of wine is my go-to when it comes to what to bring to a dinner party, but why not step it up a notch by gifting it in a wine holder? If your hosts aren’t wine drinkers, you can drop any beverage in here. I just did this for a friend of mine who is expecting with a bottle of raspberry seltzer, and she loved it.
Lavender-Lemon Sugar Cubes by Yes Cocktail Co. $15.00
As a fun add-on, you can include a lavender-lemon sugar cube set. The perfect bright addition to any summer drink.
Cocktail Mixers by Yes Cocktail Co. $18.98
Keeping with the beverage theme, these cocktail mixers by Yes Cocktail Co. always fly off our shelves and make a great addition to any festive gathering. I bought the cucumber jalapeno last week, and it has taken a lot of willpower not to consume it myself before I head to my next dinner party.
Tea Towels by Tulusa $22.00
Saved the best for last! These tea towels, handmade in Alexandria from Tulusa, make a lovely gift for any occasion.
The next time you’re invited to a dinner party, come by the nest to pick something up on your way over. Your hosts won’t be disappointed!
