How To Keep Up With The Summer Grab + Go Lifestyle

We're halfway through summer, and chances are you've been on the go a LOT! If clutter is starting to pile up around you and you just can't seem to find the sunscreen, we've got you covered!

15 minutes - Pool/Beach Bag

Feeling like you can't ever find what you need in your bag? Take 15 minutes to get it organized like a pro!

Step 1: Empty the bag (toss any trash) and categorize (sunscreen, toys, extra clothes, snacks, lipgloss, etc.).

Step 2: Contain your categories - I like to use clear, ziptop, and cosmetic bags for everything in my bag. See-through bags mean you'll be able to have everything you need right at your fingertips!

Bonus Step: Replenish what you need, so you're stocked through the rest of the summer.

30 minutes - Snacks

Reclaim your kitchen and pantry and certainly your time by organizing your snacks.

Step 1: Categorize your bars, salty snacks, and individually packaged goodies.

Step 2: Make space on a shelf or cabinet for the containers.

Step 3: Implement containers (could be divided turntables, clear bins, or metal baskets) - maximize the space by getting containers large enough to fit the entire shelf; otherwise, you're just leaving wasted space.

Step 4: Keep your categorized snacks in their own spaces (bars in one, chips in another, fruit snacks in another.... and so on).

1 Hour - Mudroom

If you've got an extra hour on your hands, take the time to organize your mudroom or whatever your "drop zone" is in your home!

The steps are the same, but you might find that you have more categories to go through!  Toss what is broken, donate what you don't use or need, and contain what you keep!

Happy (organized) summer!
