How To Make A More Engaging Easter Basket
Skip the candy and put together something that will engage and entertain the kids for at least a few hours! We built our Easter baskets full of crafty things to get children creating.
But first, we needed a basket! We love the idea of creating a basket from something that will get used again later, rather than sitting in an attic until next year. This bucket style bag is made of Japanese linen and stands up neatly as a bin to hold toys and books, or can be drawn shut and used on the go as a "busy bag" with your child's favorite activities.
We pulled together some crafty items for younger and older children to fill our bucket bag. Add in some books from our local bookstore, and you will have a basket bursting with things that aren't sugary.

Our yarnistas would be delighted to help you put together a custom basket, so stop by! And remember that adults love Easter Baskets, too! We can customize a basket of yarn and notions for your favorite stitcher as well.
But if you still want to include some sweets, be sure to stop by Fleurir Chocolates just a block from our shop to grab their amazing Easter chocolates, including these praline eggs that I look forward to every year.
