In Case We Haven't Had The Pleasure, Let Me Introduce Myself!

The Alexandria Stylebook community is growing! It's so exciting to see so many local businesses supporting one another, as well as so many community members tuning in daily to read about what's going on here in Alexandria. Since we write weekly for Stylebook, we realized there might be some new readers we haven't had the pleasure of meeting! Let me introduce our team, The Patterson Group:

Phyllis Patterson

Phyllis Patterson has over 30 years of real estate experience. She specializes in properties in historic Old Town Alexandria, Mount Vernon, along the scenic George Washington Parkway, and throughout Northern Virginia, and offers extensive knowledge of waterfront homes, residential land development, and custom home building. Phyllis is a Life Member of NVAR's Top Producers and was named a Top 100 Women Leaders in Real Estate of 2021. She is also a graduate of the Realtors Institute of Virginia, a designation held by only 12 percent of realtors in the state. Phyllis has four children and currently lives in Alexandria with her husband and dog, and has loved living so close to Founders Park and the waterfront.

Britt Patterson

Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Britt is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she majored in business marketing and minored in real estate. She joined the family business in 2008 after spending two years working in the political fundraising field. Brittany is the Vice President of The Patterson Group at TTR Sotheby's International Realty, as well as an accredited staging professional. She was an honoree of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce's 2017 "40 Under 40" celebrating the city's emerging business leaders and is the current president of Junior Friends of The Campagna Center. Additionally, she is a founding member of Mount Vernon Estate's Underground Committee.

She is a proud resident and a true product of the community of Alexandria. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Geoff (who is also from Alexandria), and their puggle, Paisley. Together, they enjoy shopping in the local stores, indulging in the local culinary scene, attending charity events, and visiting the Old Town Farmers Market.

Paige Patterson Armstrong

Born into a real estate family, Paige Patterson has real estate in her DNA. After growing up in Alexandria, Virginia, and attending college at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she played lacrosse and studied journalism and entrepreneurship, Paige spent a year and a half working in commercial real estate. At CBRE, she gained valuable insight into the Washington, D.C., and Virginia real estate markets. Paige began working for The Patterson Group, alongside her mother, Phyllis, and sister, Brittany, in 2018. Since then, Paige has quickly developed into a seasoned agent of her own. Clients sing praises of her plethora of knowledge, levelheaded guidance, and ability to get things done!

Paige currently lives in Arlington with her husband, daughter, and yellow lab. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family.

Maria Bowman Ansley

Maria is known for her tireless work ethic and ability to offer a full-service real estate experience, always going above and beyond for her clients. She has worked with The Patterson Group since 2013 and consistently displays a keen and comprehensive knowledge of every facet of the real estate process. Because Maria grew up in a military family, she is well-acquainted with the moving process, but she has always called Alexandria home. She spent most of her childhood living in Waynewood before attending Villanova University, where she played on the lacrosse team for four years. After three years living in Old Town's Yates Gardens, Maria has recently moved back to Waynewood, where she and her husband Jonathon have welcomed their baby girl, Blair. When she is not working, she enjoys dining at Old Town's many restaurants and running along the George Washington Parkway. She is also an active member of the Junior Friends of The Campagna Center.

Melissa Lepore-Holup

From listing to closing, Melissa confidently guides her clients through every step of the process. Melissa has over 20 years of experience working in real estate and has been an agent for 11 years. From Alexandria City to Kingstowne to her childhood neighborhood of Wilton Woods, Melissa has a wealth of knowledge of Alexandria and its surrounding areas. Having worked on the lending side of things before obtaining her real estate license in 2011, Melissa has extensive experience in many facets of the real estate industry. Melissa has developed great relationships with local and knowledgeable lenders to help guide her clients through to settlement. She also spent five years as a sales manager serving VIP guests at The Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., and has brought that "hospitality mentality" with her to real estate. Throughout her career, her primary focus has been customer service. As an agent and as the team's Contract Coordinator, client satisfaction is her main goal. Recently married in 2020, Melissa has enjoyed spending time with her husband and traveling with friends. Melissa loves boating along the Potomac River in the summer and escaping the winter with adventures to the Caribbean! In her free time, she loves to cook and explore Virginia wineries.

Margaret O'Meara

Margaret O'Meara, a native of the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, joined our team in the summer of 2020 as our Listing and Marketing Coordinator. She assists the team and clients in preparing homes for market, coordinates property photoshoots and staging, and creates listing and marketing materials. Over the summer of 2021, Margaret earned her Virginia real estate license. Margaret is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, where she studied communications and art history and gained experience in event management and public relations. She has recently moved from suburban Mount Vernon to historic Old Town, Alexandria, and enjoys discovering all that the area offers its residents. Outside of work, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working on creative projects, and meeting new people throughout the community! Her most recent project has been capturing Old Town during her morning walks to share on her Instagram page, @morningmarg.

Alia Brahim

A DMV native, Alia grew up in Falls Church and graduated from George Mason University with a degree in business management. Alia currently serves as The Patterson Group's Operations Coordinator. Before joining the Patterson Group in August 2021, Alia worked at Bozzuto within the property management field. With the team's help, Alia was able to transfer her apartment knowledge to houses. When Alia isn't being entertained by her cats, you can find her playing the cello or lounging at one of the local coffee shops in Alexandria!
