It Bears Repeating…

Several years ago, I spent a good deal of money on a backyard patio, fireplace, and deck. It’s absolutely beautiful and it calls to me daily. Unfortunately, I and my youngest have been denied any enjoyment of the area by invaders…these bloodsucking invaders called mosquitoes.It seems that mosquitoes have a type. Neither my husband, nor my three eldest boys are ever bothered by them. In stark contrast, my youngest and myself are often feasted upon, even when outdoor for mere minutes. As a result, I end up looking out at the yard longingly, avoiding venturing out.  This past weekend I had some extended family come to visit. They too were drawn to the beautiful spaces I created outside. Firepits and sofas begging to be lounged upon. Unfortunately, several of them suffered from the same fate as I do…bug bites were numerous, and the scratching was endless. That is until I remembered that my CBD creams always took the sting and the itch away from my son’s bites. I immediately fetched my Lord Jones Body Lotion and my Cannabliss Salve and set to rubbing them into everyone’s bites. Within minutes, the kids and adults alike stopped scratching. Everyone was happy. But unlike calamine lotion or other quick fixes, the itch never came back.  My cousins insisted we drive to Bellacara so they could buy this miracle product. In store, one of them had me put the Cannabliss salve on their bite. They had been itching it the entire drive to the store. After a few minutes of shopping I asked, “How does the bite feel?” “What?” “The bite?” “What bite?” “The one we put the salve on.” “Oh my gosh, I completely forgot. It doesn’t itch at all.” She then grabbed another box of the salve and put it on the counter.I know I told you about this last year, but it’s easy to forget. It bears repeating. If mosquitoes love you, or anyone you love, you need some CBD lotion. Trust me, it’s a summertime essential.Oh, and I’m having the yard sprayed. I tried to avoid it, but my little one needs to go outside every once in awhile without fear of attack. If he gets a bite here and there, I’ve got the solution.
