Jackson Hole Fall
What better way to spend a weekend in September than out in the mountains with family. Although I love the changing of the seasons here in Alexandria, I recently took a trip out west that made me even more excited for fall. Earlier this month, I visited Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for my nephew Stuart's wedding to celebrate him marrying his beautiful bride, Ellie. It was a gorgeous wedding hosted outdoors overlooking Grand Teton Mountain. A beautiful background for a beautiful celebration!
If you have never been, I highly recommend a visit. Close to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole has an abundance of ski resorts, fantastic restaurants, great people watching, and even a western downtown with fun saloons to visit. While we were out there, we spent our days in the National Parks, hiking and climbing around Grand Teton. Our family rafted down the Snake River and saw lots of wildlife, including eagles, two moose, and a baby bear whose mom was sleeping nearby. It was rejuvenating to be out in nature and explore a new part of the nation with my family.
On our flight back, I couldn't help but think about the mountains of Jackson Hole and how they fuel my love for fall decoration and design. Now that I am back at the shop, I have a few items new to our shelves that I want to share with you. Ones I know will inspire the feeling of fall in your own homes, just as Jackson Hole did for me!
