Jennifer’s Bellacara Favorites
Today we are continuing our “Favorite Things” series with some of Jennifer’s favorites. (P.S. Jennifer has a normal skin type.)
Pre-Cleanse and Cleanse
Jennifer likes to remove her makeup with Bioderma’s cult-favorite Micellar Water. The Sensibio H2O gently cleanses and removes makeup from the face and eyes while respecting the moisture balance of your skin. It is specially formulated for even the most sensitive skin.Jennifer follows up with another cult favorite (fun fact, I saw this in Monica and Rachel’s bathroom on an old episode of Friends) Dermalogicas’s Special Cleansing Gel. The soap-free gel formula deep cleans without drying out your skin while lavender extracts and balm mint soothe irritated skin. 
Toner
Yes, you need a toner. It rebalances the PH of the skin and removes the last traces of the day that your cleanse may have missed. Jennifer reaches for Indie Lee’s COQ-10 Toner, which she spritzes on a cotton pad at night, and directly on her face in the morning. This toner contains Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera. It is alcohol-free and the COQ-10 adds a burst of antioxidants to help your skin fend off free radicals. 
Eye Cream
Jennifer is not yet 30, but I’ve started her on eye cream early (why correct what you can prevent?) She loves the Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Brighten and Firm Eye Cream. It firms, smooths, and refreshes the eye area. Bonus: This has been shown to soften and correct those pesky “11” lines in between the eyebrows as well. 
Moisturizer and Face Oil
As is the story with all of us, Jennifer is obsessed with Augustinus Bader. The company recently released “The Face Oil,” and we are already in love with it. Jennifer uses “The Rich Cream” at night and “The Face Oil” in the morning. For her skin type, The Rich Cream is a little too heavy for daytime use, so she opts for The Face Oil in the morning. 
SPF
The most important part of anyone’s skincare routine is SPF. Since Jennifer likes to use The Face Oil in the morning, she uses Soleil Toujours Set and Protect Micro Mist, which is really easy to reapply throughout the day. It is water-resistant, organic, and reef safe! Plus, it sets your makeup for smudge proof protection. 
All-Purpose Salve
Last but not least is the Cannabliss Hemp Salve. It can be used on sore muscles and bruising or as a deeply nourishing overnight face mask. As you all know, we love to experiment, and Jennifer tried it post shave on the bikini area and it prevented pesky razor burn, irritation, and bumps. She also uses it now and again overnight when her skin is a bit drier. You wake up to perfect, baby soft skin.
