A Party Fit for POTUS1: Announcing Mount Vernon Underground's Second Annual Masquerade
Where is the coolest place to party in all of Alexandria? While there are many awesome spots, we think partying on the same lawn George Washington did tops the list, and guess what…you can do just that!
Mount Vernon Underground's second annual Masquerade is only one month away! This is a chance to experience Mount Vernon like few ever have at one of Alexandria’s most unique events. Join us at 7pm, Saturday, September 22nd on Mount Vernon’s iconic East Lawn to benefit George Washington’s Mount Vernon and support their on-going mission of preserving George Washington’s home and educating people around the world about his life and legacy.
Tickets to the event include:
- Moonlit Masquerade
- Heavy hors d’oeuvres

- Music and dancing
- Private tours of the mansion, including a rare peek into the underground cellar
- 18th century fortune telling
- Fireworks over the Potomac
