Pantone is Feeling Blue in 2020
Looks like blue hues for 2020! Pantone announced that its 2020 Color of the Year is Classic Blue, a shade reminiscent of the sky at dusk. The reason Pantone chose this hue is because it is “comforting and relatable.” "It's a color that anticipates what's going to happen next," said Laurie Pressman, the vice president of the Pantone Color Institute, which selects the Color of the Year. The cobalt blue hue is also said to be associated with communication, introspection, and clarity. Other benefits of the hue include aiding concentration and helping to re-center thoughts, particularly in light of technology's accelerating developments. According to Pantone, Classic Blue is already being used in fashion, interior design, textiles, and graphic design. So how can we incorporate this color into our homes?
