Sofia Rocca, Lucuma Boutique (August 2022 Seedling Pop-Up)
Lucuma has many plans for 2023. Our main goal is to produce the samples offered at our August pop-up at the Seedling Collective. We received a great response to our pieces, and feedback we will be bringing into the new production of our handmade line, Lucuma the Label. We aim to grow our small business team and expand the community. Visit her site to learn more about Sofia's brand.
Sue Henry, Tulusa Goods (November & December 2022 Pop-Up)
In 2023 we'll be expanding our line into paper products, exploring wallpaper, and have goals of working with designers on larger scale projects. We'll be bringing our pillows back and we'll also be offering personalized block printing for home or office. (shoot us a dm if you have fantasies of block printed walls, we can help with that!)
While our level of production was at an all time high in 2022 we need to find some clear paths to a higher level of production that's a little less sleep depriving. The goal here is as it has always has been, to keep our products beautifully made, and unique while being kind to the environment and accessible to our clients. Visit her site to keep up with Sue's colorful shop.
Cris Logan (October 2022 Pop-Up)
I am looking forward to continuing to create art that connects with and celebrates the Washington D.C. and northern Virginia community I care so much about. I would also love to have another short-term popup to interface with clients and highlight some of the other small business owners I admire in our region. Visit her site to see what Cris is up to in the meantime!
