Sid Mashburn Is Back At Yellow Jacket!
Last April, we finally had the Grand Opening of Yellow Jacket, and we were lucky enough to host Sid Mashburn and his team for a custom tailoring event. It was amazing. Sid and his team are fun and kind, and well, they really know clothes. When the orders started coming in, I understood it even more; the clothes were more beautiful than I could have imagined, and they fit perfectly.
This fall, I feel like, is our first "real" season at Yellow Jacket, the way we envisioned it. The first time we ordered merchandise at the right time so we could get exactly what we wanted, and we have stocked up on gifts and accessories. If you haven't been in since it converted from The Hive to Yellow Jacket, you won't recognize the place. Ivy Lane has done a complete transformation of the space.
To help us kick off the fall season Sid and his team are coming back for another visit. On either Thursday, September 15, from 5pm to 8pm or Friday, September 16, from 9am to 3pm, you can sign up for a custom tailoring appointment. You can have dress shirts, pants, sport coats or suits custom made. If you don't need custom clothing, just stop in and say hi, have a bourbon or a coffee, and shop all the other great off-the-rack clothing from Sid Mashburn. He has the best polos around, in my opinion. I am not the only one. The Robb Report said, "Sid Mashburn's polo shirt is a stylish grown-up take." In my opinion, everyone needs some polo shirts without a logo. Esquire Magazine called Sid "a legend," GQ named him the "best-dressed man in the South," and has named his Atlanta storefront the top men's store in the country.
Basically, I am really fortunate to carry his clothes, and I am even luckier to have him come to my store.
If there is a man in your life who needs some new clothes, please send him our way. We are ready to help, and the trunk show will go through the weekend as well. So you can shop Sid's extended collection through Sunday. Of course, we have other great lines. The shelves are stocked, and we are ready for a great fall season.
