Start the Year on the Right Frame

As we celebrate the season of miracles and light we look to reflect and find joy. For many joy is in your family and capturing the togetherness of family, is a tradition we love.

What a joy-filled season of all kinds of smiles! Some little, some big, some new and some we’ve been capturing for years from behind our lens. We are grateful every time someone reaches out to Renée C. Gage Photography and trusts us to be the ones to capture this moment in time.

One of my favorite moments in 2024 was the official opening of our studio in the Hollin Hall Shopping Center with the love and help of our one and only Kait! We are located at 7946 Fort Hunt Road. We had a beautiful celebration in our studio and courtyard with so many friends, local businesses and family (my parents and sister were there, too!). Other top moments include meeting so many new faces in Alexandria, time behind my lens capturing new families and children, places we’ve traveled, quiet walks with our pup, bike rides, time with family and our trip to Maine!

As the clock resets and a new year begins, there's magic in the air. It’s a fresh start, full of hope, new goals, and exciting opportunities. Capture this moment with fresh photos and mark the turning of a new chapter in your life. Whether it’s updating your family photo wall or revamping your professional image, new photos feel like a clean slate.

Here’s why you should kick off 2025 with professional photography:

Capturing Milestones. Time flies, and so do the stages of life. Children grow up, families evolve, and careers progress. Annual photos are a wonderful way to document these changes and create a visual timeline of your journey. You’ll be grateful to have these snapshots of your family’s growth and your personal milestones when you look back years from now.

A New Look for a New Year. For professionals, the New Year is the ideal moment to refresh your personal brand. Whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder or running your own business, a polished and current headshot can make a big difference. Use it for your LinkedIn profile, website, or email signature to start the year with a professional edge.

Seasonal Moods. Winter offers a unique charm that’s hard to replicate during other seasons. Picture a snowy outdoor scene or cozy indoor settings with twinkling lights. These seasonal touches add a special flair to your photos, making them stand out.

A Tangible Resolution. Many of us enter the New Year with resolutions to prioritize family, self-care, or career growth. A photo session is a tangible way to act on those goals. Everyone always says they have a great time with their family and it’s a fun and rewarding experience that aligns with your commitment to making the year memorable and impactful.

Whether it’s capturing a milestone, updating your professional look, or simply cherishing the joy of togetherness, there’s no better time to book a photo session than the start of a new year. So gather your loved ones, find a special spo and we can create together! Here’s to framing the moments that make life beautiful and setting the stage for a year filled with cherished memories.

Shine bright,

Renée
