Stocking Stuffers

Stockings are arguably the most fun part of Christmas morning. Bonus gifts! Small treasures tucked away in a giant old sock. Who doesn't love this part? If you're still looking for said small treasures, here are a few from Red Barn Mercantile that we are particularly fond of.

  1. You can't go wrong with any Sydney Hale scents, but the Bourbon + Brown Sugar candle smells particularly wonderful this time of year. Rich, molasses saturated sugar cane and charred double oaked bourbon. Straight up. ($32)
  2. A subtle Blood Orange and Bergamot hand cream to soothe, hydrate, and heal winter skin. ($28)
  3. While most of us are landlocked this holiday season, this Sea Mineral Sparkling Bath Tablet contains a blend of essential oils that reminds us of the sea. Main notes are petitgrain, rosemary, and lavender, making for a very fresh, slightly green blend with a slight briny herbal finish. ($8)
  4. These raw Porcelain Faceted Stud Earrings are a unique and modern alternative to pearls. Each piece is hand-formed, carved, and kiln fired, making them truly one-of-a-kind. ($32.50)
  5. A set of marble coasters to put a little magic under their glass and stars in their eyes. ($19)
  6. E. Frances Holiday and Non-Holiday Little Notes are just so ridiculously cute and useful! ($16)
  7. Silly and sweet. This cinnamon-flavored Candy Coal is a perfect mix of nice and naughty. ($5)
  8. It's hard to find good trivia questions on the web (trust us, we've looked!). Ridley's Games are great for post-dinner fun, road trips, or just to learn a few new things. ($15)

  1. The Horseshoe Magnet is strong enough to hold your dish towel, office papers, shopping lists, or family photos. Plus, the horseshoe is a symbol of good fortune, and goodness gracious, we could all use more of that. ($15)
  2. Simple, elegant, and completely useful, this new line of Craig Hill Keyrings are small works of art and fit perfectly in a stocking. ($15.50-$32)
  3. So many stickers in the shop right now, but who doesn't love Mr. Rogers? ($3)
  4. A set of 10 self-adhesive 1" wax seals to brighten any correspondence. ($16)
  5. That delightful look of disdain we've all come to expect from America's sweetheart, David Rose. ($12.50)
  6. Rainbow rubber bands in a pretty tin box because why in the world not? ($16)
  7. Packed in a sturdy jewel case that doubles as a stand, this 5.5" x5" desk calendar is loaded with frame-worthy illustrations that perfectly complements any workspace. ($22)
  8. Sugarfina's Candy Bento Box comes with three delicious tea treats: Matcha Bears, Peach Tea Bears, and Rose Tea Bears. Your morning tea, just a little bit sweeter. ($30)
  9. Miniature jigsaws for everyone! While not the most challenging puzzles we carry, they are a fun 20-minute activity that leave you with a sweet little treat and a sense of accomplishment. ($18)

When in doubt, candy! But if you're looking to step up your (Santa's) stocking game, hopefully these ideas will spark your imagination!
