Our Story: A Rebirth Rooted in Intention
When you’re confronted with the weight of major life and business changes, you’re invited into a profound moment of self-reflection—a chance to look inward and ask how you arrived here, and more importantly, where you feel called to go next. Not to judge yourself, but to inspire yourself to choose differently, to step into growth with open eyes and an open heart.
Over the last year and a half, I made some incredibly difficult decisions. Through honest, accountable work—and with the support of people who held space for my humanity rather than simply agreeing with me—I was able to examine what wasn’t working, why it wasn’t working, and what needed to shift. That clarity allowed me to return to the foundation of an already beautiful business and consciously rebuild it. To rebirth it, re-nurture it, and reconnect everything back to the core values that have always defined us: identity, self-expression, artistry, community, and the transformative power of being seen.
A major part of this evolution came from recognizing how profoundly our physical environment shapes us. Our surroundings influence our nervous system, our creativity, and our sense of clarity. With that understanding, I took a deep and honest look at what I was creating.
I had already built a bigger company with a larger staff. On paper, it looked like growth. But in truth, it didn’t serve me, and it didn’t serve the community that supports us. We lost something essential in that expansion—not in interpersonal connection, but in the sheer physical scale. More does not mean better. More does not mean deeper. And more certainly does not mean more intentional.
So I made the conscious decision to stay small, rooted, and aligned.
A smaller team allows us to engage more deeply. To connect not just through services, but through genuine conversation, presence, and artistry. It allows us to preserve the environment we’ve created—a space where guests walk in and immediately feel themselves exhale. A space for decompression, self-expression, and the quiet exploration of identity. A place where we journey with our guests, guiding them with intention, care, and respect for who they are becoming.
Going home to Spain for a few weeks gave me the neutral space I needed to see all of this clearly. Being immersed in my roots reminded me why this work matters and why our studio exists—not as a machine for volume, but as a sanctuary for transformation.
OUR NEXT CHAPTER: COMMUNITY, EXPERIENCE, & EVOLUTION
As we move into next year, one of our deepest goals is to create more communal spaces and shared experiences within the studio. Stylists at North is not meant to be static—it is a living, breathing environment that evolves with the people who walk through its doors.
We’re beginning with quarterly gatherings, and as we settle into the rhythm, we hope to expand into monthly experiences. Each quarter, we will create micro-environments within our client lounge—immersive pockets of atmosphere, emotion, and artistry—so that every visit feels fresh, inspiring, and deeply personal. These transformations allow our guests to step into a new emotional landscape every time they enter the space.
We are incredibly excited to collaborate with fellow artists, creatives, and members of our community. Together, we will craft experiences that celebrate who we are collectively—rooted, expressive, intentional, and endlessly evolving.
Our boutique has also become a meaningful extension of this vision. We are curating smaller brands with unique voices and stories—creators whose work is crafted with heart and purpose. We will continue to uplift these brands, bringing their artistry to our shelves and supporting the narratives they carry.
A SPACE FOR BECOMING
This next era is not about doing more—it is about going deeper. It is about cultivating a studio that feels aligned, grounded, and emotionally resonant. It is about creating a space where identity and expression meet, where art and humanity intertwine, and where every guest feels invited to explore who they are.
Stylists at North is a sanctuary, a community, and a creative home.
And we are just getting started.
