I know that the lovely readers of Stylebook take excellent care of their skin, body, hair, family, and homes. Here at Bellacara we preach exfoliation and its importance in your skincare routine. How are all these incredible serums and creams going to work their best? They will do best if you exfoliate first. We have amazing facial exfoliators (shout out to Dr. Dennis Gross) and body scrubs that will leave you smooth and supple, but often times, we forget about our scalp! Allow me to explain...Scalp buildup occurs when an oily secretion called sebum accumulates alongside sweat, hair products, and dead skin cells on the scalp. Now, we all love our hair products. We know that hair creams/serums help to control frizz, texturizing sprays give us that va va voom volume, and dry shampoos can help extend our shampoo for one (or two) more days.
