Unmissable Stops Along the GW Parkway

By far the most beautiful drive in the DMV, the George Washington Memorial Parkway is a gem full of scenic stops, wildlife, and activities. Stretching 25 miles from George Washington’s Mount Vernon to the Cabin John Bridge separating Virginia and Maryland, there are many iconic landmarks along the route such as Reagan National Airport, D.C. Monuments, and Mount Vernon.

We’ve compiled a list of must-visit places along the GW Parkway from on-land activities to water adventures.
