Things I Am Loving Lately

First up are my favorites from Bellacara! I went in at the beginning of August, and Celthia helped me build a skincare routine for my needs. We started with this cleanser and toner from Kiehl’s. I love the way my skin feels after using these two together – hydrated and glowy. A bonus is that the cleanser removes all my makeup, so no need for an extra step. After traveling, I started to notice some irritation and bumps from wearing my face mask for long periods. Celthia got me to try this cleanser from Dermalogica to combat acne. I added this cleanser into my routine three nights a week since my skin tends to be more dry. When I stick with my skincare, my makeup goes on more effortless, and I do not have to apply very much. My go-to is a whole face from Westman Atelier. I tap the foundation under my eyes and bronzer on my cheeks. Then, just add a swipe of mascara, and I’m out the door!

The newest addition to Old Town is now becoming a weekly stop for me. Last week, I visited Chef Nicole’s newest restaurant, Mae’s Market and Café. It is so darling and delicious! Check out her article here to read about the opening and menu. I opted for the Fancy Tuna sandwich and, of course, had to have one of the chocolate croissants. You can shop around while you wait for your food and grab a great selection of produce and goodies. Find me working remotely one day from Mae’s this week!

Last but not least is a home find I have been loving and talking about since my move. I love this lamp from Boxwood so much! It has held true to being the best for entertaining or a fun addition to a corner. It is a rechargeable LED light that can be used indoor and outdoor. It’s great to add light when hosting on my patio. I can simply carry it around and place it wherever I need it. Joanna now has more color and heights available, and I am eyeing every single one!
