We are looking for Social Media Managers to lead day-to-day planning and content creation across our social media channels. Stylebook is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting women-owned small businesses and women leaders. We believe that lifestyle inspiration should come directly from the source: local experts who tirelessly work behind the scenes to cultivate this vibrant community we love to call home!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Managing Editor and small business contributors to develop a content calendar and campaign plans for a variety of social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Create, manage, and execute social media content plans and campaigns in collaboration with our small business contributors by proposing creative solutions to amplify the voices of small business and women leaders and adapting content to align with diverse brand voices.
Define key performance metrics and analyze performance across channels, suggesting and making real-time improvements as needed to maximize engagement.
Provide actionable recommendations to the Managing Editor and small business contributors to shape the social media strategy by staying up-to-date on the latest social media and digital best practices and marketing trends.
Skills & Qualifications:
Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills for social media with an ability to express ideas creatively and succinctly.
Incredibly detail-oriented and organized with an ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and meet daily deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to inspire confidence and capture compelling content from experts.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, as well as working with digital reporting and creative tools like Canva.
Passion for promoting local small businesses and supporting the Alexandria community.
This is a part-time contractor position with work requirements in or around Alexandria, Virginia over the next three months with an option to extend further. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
