Mark Your Calendars for Wine on the Water

Spring is in the air and we are ready for a party! If you are, too, join us at Alexandria Seaport’s Wine on the Water event at Old Town’s historic waterfront on Saturday, June 9th. We are honored to be a part of this year’s event and excited to combine two of our favorite things: wine and the Potomac River!Wine on the Water is Alexandria’s premier wine event, but there’s fun to be had by everyone, even those who don’t love vintage. We hope that you’ll join us for an evening full of food and wine pairings (craft beer available, if preferred), cheese and charcuterie, and steel drums transporting us to a tropical paradise. This event supports a wonderful local cause that is close to the hearts of many in this area. The Alexandria Seaport Foundation improves the lives of at-risk youth by providing the career, educational, and life skills necessary for them to become productive, successful adults. Through adult mentoring, project-based learning — including the craft of wooden boat building — ASF builds the self-confidence required for the youth to become the best version of themselves. We hope that you will join us in enjoying Old Town’s spectacular waterfront on an almost-summer evening while learning how the ASF is working to change the lives of youth right here in our community. One of the most fun aspects of the evening will be a live and silent auction fundraiser, complete with some enviable prizes such as a week-long vacation on Cape Cod, restaurant and spa gift certificates, gift baskets, a sign-on party at Phyllis’s (shameless plug!), and more. Please join The Patterson Group as we celebrate the Alexandria Seaport Foundation at Alexandria’s best annual wine event on Saturday, June 9 from 6-8pm. Tickets can be purchased here and more information about ASF can be found at their website, on Instagram and Facebook, and on Vimeo.
