Yes, You Can Wear Handknits In Summer!
Summer is here, and it's knitting season! Yes, you read that right - you can create and wear handknits all year round. While most people picture knitters working on endless scarves and chunky hats, some of our favorite knits are summer tops! We have a trunk show of summer garments and accessories from Loopy Mango in the shop now.
Loopy Mango is a perennial favorite brand for our stitching community. They specialize in quick and trendy knits that are easy to make and instantly gratifying. Their yarns are custom-milled in Italy.
We have their two cotton yarns in stock - the appropriately named Summer Cotton and Big Cotton. These medium and super bulky weight yarns are incredibly soft and vegan. Loopy Mango is always releasing new designs for their yarns (and patterns are free with yarn purchase). We're excited to feature some of our favorites from the trunk show. Plus, each design can be knit in a short time - from a few hours to a few evenings! Most require just basic skills.
