A Masculine Spin On Flowers For Father’s Day
Every year certain things are guaranteed: we’re going to spend countless hours meticulously planning for Mother’s Day…. and inevitably, we will get caught with our pants down for Father’s Day.
So, in an effort to reform my ways, I’m sharing some of my favorite picks from our first ever pre-planned Father’s Day catalog.
Fresh Flowers
Move over fluffy pink peonies and garden roses - for Father’s Day, we’re breaking out all the textural and rugged blooms. Instead, we’re big fans of tulips, thistle, and scabiosa pods - all unique and masculine elements that are crowd favorites among Dads. Bonus points for sending flowers to the office on Friday and making a show of how much you love the special guy in your life.
Something Green
I am such a believer that every room, space, or office needs something green. Plants bring life into an otherwise sterile space and are the perfect lasting gift.
When ordering for Dad, we recommend a masculine vessel (think cement or manly metallic) dressed with textural moss, stone, and driftwood. We recognize that some (not all!) men may struggle to care for an office plant, so our team is happy to point in the direction of sturdy plants like air plants or snake plants.
Curated Gifting
If something living isn’t your speed (or you just lack confidence that they’ll get watered), we’ve got curated gift boxes that are packed full of all the goodies. My favorite - the rugged box - with all the fixin’s for an Old Fashioned, a wood Swell bottle, and all sorts of manly bath products.
So cheers to all the Dad’s running around Alexandria doing all the things. We see you, and we appreciate you!
