A Note of Thanks - To You
This year has been a big one for our little shop and, truth be told, we have a lot for which we are grateful. After enduring a full year of renovations and big changes to our business, this has been a year of "just working," during which we have been able to focus on running our business instead of (literally) building it. It has also been a year of affirming that we made the right decisions at the right time and learning lessons from things that weren't as well thought out. Fortunately, those less-positive realizations have related mostly to things like the decision to install automatic light switches which...isn't that big of a deal. The bigger deal realizations have been wholly positive. Our clients have settled into our new routine and we never get tired of hearing the gracious compliments from everyone about how our showroom turned out. We are eternally grateful to our clients who stayed with us throughout our transition and even cheered us on along the way. We know it isn't easy to endure change, especially when it's to an institution like our workshop (which has been here since before I was born). We're honored that you continue to entrust us with your most precious items and hope to continue serving you with the impeccable craftsmanship you have come to expect from our little workshop. To our new clients, thank you for taking the time to get to know us and how we work. We aren't your typical jewelry store by any means, so we know it takes some getting used to. But we have been thrilled by the reception our concept has had within our community and the constant flow of new clients has been a reassuring message for us: you're on the right track.Thank you to the businesses with which we have collaborated over the last year. Our Customization Bar at The Shoe Hive has been such fun (and we have new products coming your way!) Elizabeth, we are grateful for your unyielding support and to all the Stylebook contributors: thank you for working extra hard to make this daily publication such a special project to be a part of. We're so lucky to be included. And finally: thank you to you, our loyal Stylebook readers! "Grateful" doesn't even sum up how we feel about being situated in such a small business-friendly community. We truly could not do this without you. To celebrate our thanks, we'll be taking 20% off our in-store inventory on Small Business Saturday (we'll be closed on Black Friday). We hope you'll stop by, enjoy some bubbles, and pick out some extra-special gifts for this year. We would love to see you!Enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday, everyone!!
