A Perfect Pause

This was a big week for TSALT. We took the needs of our clients, our employees, and my personal needs as a business owner (and the many needs of my children, husband, and parents) all into consideration and decided to hit “pause.”To say it was emotional is an understatement, but all things in life that are important are worth evaluating and working through. We aren’t certain of the exact restructuring of TSALT but what we are sure of is that we want to focus on our loved ones right now. For me, that is close family, friends in the community, and friends far away. Thank you for your love and support as we navigate through this trying time. This is what Old Town is about. I am thankful to my friends, clients, and local businesses in the community that have always been so supportive. I will continue to do so for all of you. For now, I am loving being in Colorado with my family for my mother’s 80th birthday. I love the outdoors and fresh air. I love the deer out back eating apples from our trees. I love fishing with veterans and their children in our ponds. I’m loving waking up to 42-degree weather wearing jeans, sweaters, and jackets and switching to shorts and t-shirts in the 80-degree afternoons. This makes me look forward to seeing what new sweaters I’ll find in Old Town stores when I return.I’m looking forward to a positive and fulfilling (albeit completely different than any we’ve ever known) fall and winter for us all.
