A Visit To Balian Springs

Balian Springs – a wonderful place to spend five hours of alone time! I visited the recently-opened Balian Springs, a new spa in the West End that offers a curated and unique wellness experience. It is definitely the ultimate relaxation destination!

Amazingly, their daily admission for a weekday experience will only cost you $75 while they celebrate their grand opening. You’ll be amazed at the cleanliness, quietness, and the all-day relaxation experience of being immersed in their amenities.

While visiting, the spa gave us a wristband to access the lounges, specialty rooms, and eateries. We were also given robes and slippers to wear while we explored the amenities. We spent a lot of time exploring the different rooms before we enjoyed our add-on spa treatments.

The sauna rooms include: the far infrared room, gold room, himalayan salt room, loess clay room, steam room, charcoal room, chromotherapy, and cryotherapy rooms. I absolutely loved the himalayan salt and charcoal! The facility also has multiple hydrotherapy pools, including indoor pools and a rooftop pool. One of my favorite spaces at Balian Springs was the relaxation lounge. The relaxation lounges have several different rooms to relax and immerse yourself in. These include the aromatherapy room, meditation room, media room, immersive lounge, and the infrared lounge. They also offer a fitness center and work space (not that you’d want to worry about work while you’re there!).

Since you’ll want to spend the whole day at Balian Springs, you’ll have an opportunity to eat at one of their three healthy, in-house dining spots. On the first floor, you’ll find The Garden Cafe that provides juice, smoothies, and other healthy treats. For a more robust dining option, the second floor has the Kuta Kitchen and Niki-Niko Sushi bar.

For an additional cost, we booked a few services with their Lilikoi spa treatments. Last week, I took my mom for a mother-daughter spa day to celebrate her birthday. We had wonderful massages and facials. We couldn’t help but look forward to coming back! There are also several add-on spa treatments available for booking, including foot massages, peels, facials, manicures and pedicures, body polish, and reflexology foot treatments.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, immersive experience, I definitely recommend checking out Balian Springs. Whether you need a mental health day or calming spa retreat, this new social wellness club is sure to be every Alexandrian’s favorite destination for balancing their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Enjoy!
