We are taking a big shift from design and upholstery sales (which, you are in luck, has been extended to March 17) to...bacon. Yes, bacon. For all my carnivorous friends out there, this one’s for you.We are excited to expand on our offerings from Terrapin Ridge, a small-batch, specialty food maker from Florida. Their business has been built on the notion that entertaining doesn’t have to be fussy, but it does need to flavorful. And, full of family and friends. It’s this ethos that led them to create an extensive line of delectable jams, jellies, and mustards. After trying the Hot Pepper Bacon Jam at the Fancy Food Show, Blair and I were hooked. We have carried this one thing from Terrapin Ridge for years and just recently added to all the bacon goodness.We are thrilled to bring to our shelves Terrapin Ridge’s Hot Pepper Berry Bacon Jam and Apple Bacon Jam – as well as two delicious mustards – but we are talking bacon today. The flavor combinations of all three jams are smoky blends of sweet and spicy. They are great as marinades, finishing sauces, and glazes for your favorite protein. And, pair them with just about any cheese for a quick, easy, and tasty snack or appetizer for your next gathering.My favorite of the three bacon jams is still the one that made us fall in love with the brand in the first place, Hot Pepper Bacon Jam. Deviled Bacon and Eggs
Ingredients
12 large hard-boiled eggs
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
1/8 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
Garnish: Terrapin Ridge Farms Spicy Chipotle Garnishing Squeeze
Directions
Slice eggs in half lengthwise, carefully remove yolks. Mash yolks with mayonnaise. Add Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon Jam, salt, and pepper; stir well. Spoon yolk mixture into egg whites.
