Banwood Bikes, Trikes, Scooters, and Skateboards Trunk Show at Pippin Toy Co.

Last week, Caiti talked to you about our upcoming Lamy Fountain Pen Trunk Show – and Moo Deng the cutest pygmy hippo ever! This week I wanted to remind you of that trunk show and share that Pippin Toy Co. is having one of their own as well!

Since we opened last year, we have carried the coolest cycling brand. Banwood makes quality bicycles, balancing bikes, tricycles, scooters, and skateboards (along with accessories!) with above average style for kiddos from two to five years old. Influenced by Scandinavian design and built with safety as it’s number one priority, Banwood bikes, trikes, scooters, and skateboards are designed to last. Take the scooters for instance. The T-handlebar is ergonomic and can easily be adjusted to your kid’s height. Or how about the balance bike featuring an adjustable saddle and handlebar that can be easily regulated as your kid grows.

One of the things I love is the little basket that comes standard with the bikes, trikes and scooters. It’s just delightful and sweet. Perfect for carting around stuffies, sketchbooks, and snacks for an afternoon at the park!

Tricycles and bicycles are a staple on most holiday wish lists, so we wanted to make sure you got yours well in advance. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we are having a Banwood trunk show. We will have examples of everything they have and all the colors they offer so you can see them in person. Because we don’t have room to stock everything, we have to take special orders for everything. They will be here well in advance of the holidays so you can delight your little people this season!

To make things fun we will be rolling a giant dice to give away helmets, carrying straps, discounts up to 20% off, and gift cards depending on what you roll! Get it? Wheels and roll. We hope to see you at Pippin Toy Co. this weekend!

Owner Amy Rutherford started Red Barn because she wanted to deliver a service — to provide both old and new in one place. No longer will busy shoppers be limited to reproductions or forced to shop multiple flea markets for the look or gifts they want. The trick in blending old and new, vintage and modern, classic and quirky, is balance. And Amy’s knack for mixing rustic antiques with urban chic has created a look that is both fresh and familiar.

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, Penny Post is an independent boutique specializing in custom stationery and wedding invitations. Inspired by the art of personal correspondence, the power of handwritten notes, and the smell of freshly printed stationery, we surround ourselves with quirky, hilarious, and classically beautiful things to make life a little brighter.
