Product Love: Becca Aqua Luminous Foundation
If I had a dollar for everyone that walked in with a serum dropper foundation from any number of lines that discontinued them…well, let's just say I'd be on a plane to a tropical beach right now. The serum foundation was a godsend to customers that wanted a lightweight foundation, but needed a bit more coverage than a BB or tinted moisturizer could provide. You know, foundation that doesn't look like foundation.I'm not sure why, but lately it seems like the cosmetics industry has conspired against us and is introducing more and more full coverage foundations while discontinuing the sheerest. That may work for twenty-somethings, but it definitely doesn't work for me.Thankfully, Becca understands this. Dispensed from a serum dropper, this water-based luminizing formula offers light to medium buildable coverage. It has a dewy radiance that is lovely, but not overdone. Unlike oil-based serum foundations, this one can be used by almost every skin type, save really oily. The intuitive formula melts into the skin and becomes almost undetectable while simultaneously evening out skin tone and concealing imperfections. The dropper draws up and dispenses the perfect amount of foundation for the entire face. This product really shines when stippled on and buffed out with a foundation brush. If you need a bit more coverage, you can pat a tad extra on with a damp beauty blender where needed. I am really impressed with the wearability of this foundation, as well. It looks just as good at 3pm as it did at 8am. If you're still looking for a replacement for that serum foundation you loved, I highly suggest you try this product. I think you'll love it.
