Beloved Kristin Try Interiors Project in Rosemont Finds Its Next Chapter
Some projects are more than just homes; they are stories, memories, and cherished collaborations that weave together the past and the present. The Urban Farm Lake Bungalow Home in Rosemont is one of those special places, named for our Instagram hashtag that shared details from start to finish of the project: #urbanfarmlakebungalowhome.

I fell in love with this original bungalow long before my clients called it home. Walking my girls to school, I’d pass by and be transported back to my great grandmother’s Sears Bungalow in Michigan, where my love for old homes and design first took root. When I had the honor of working with our incredible clients, along with architect Laura Campbell of Convene Architecture and the expert builders at Harry Braswell, Inc., we knew we were embarking on something truly special. Over the course of a multi-year renovation, we infused every inch of this home with history, heart, and intention.
Today, we are thrilled to share the news that this beloved home is officially going on the market. While this marks the end of one chapter, it also means a fresh start for the next owners who will get to enjoy all the thoughtful details, craftsmanship, and warmth that make this home so extraordinary. If you’ve ever admired this project, now is your chance to make it your own. For more information, please reach out to our clients’ real estate broker, Shaun Murphy with Compass to learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And while we bid farewell to this home, we are beyond excited to share that Kristin Try Interiors will be embarking on a new journey with these same wonderful clients for their next home. The process of designing a home tailored to their evolving needs and dreams is something we can’t wait to document and share with you all. Stay tuned as we bring a new vision to life! We can’t wait to share process at the new home on Instagram once again at #AlxTownToCountry.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of making the Urban Farm Lake Bungalow what it is today. To the next homeowners—may you find as much joy in this home as we all have over the years.
