Bringing in the New at Patina Polished Living

Kim and I just returned from the Atlanta Market and are very excited with everything we purchased for Patina! The first order of business is always Christmas, and we were so happy that our customers shared their wishes. The resounding comments were less ornaments, more tabletop décor. We think you will be delighted with our selections. Kim is going to make holiday mood boards, and they will be shared later this year.

The Patina kitchen is going to become more of a pantry with French pottery, table settings, glassware, napkins and season-themed décor.

We can’t wait to share our selection of bed linens and plush bath towels. We will devote one of our larger rooms to become a bedroom/sitting room sanctuary.

All our jewelry lines have the latest creations on their way – just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Each day at market is a day-long whirl of traversing three 20-story buildings. If you asked me specifics about what we purchased, I would not be able to answer. It is a blur until we receive all the paperwork and organize it for the arrival of our orders.

Kim and I are very excited for not only lots of new items but for reorganization of the store to share all these fresh finds. Happy New Year and see you soon!

Patina Polished Living was created 10 years ago by friends Amanda Mertins and Kimberly Weiler.

Amanda Mertins was born in Ohio and graduated the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics. She started moving and editing furniture and accessories while in grade school and hasn’t stopped since. She enjoys baking desserts and playing with her grandchildren.

Kim Weiler was born in Pennsylvania and graduated the University of the Arts with a degree in graphic design. Upon graduating, she was immediately hired by one of her professors at the Katz Wheeler Design firm. She loves design, gardening, sweet tea and all French bulldogs.

Amanda and Kim are excellent complements to one another-one could even say the Yin and Yang of design. Being very different people but with interconnected forces is the reason their partnership continues to flourish.
