Brochu Walker Hits The Hive

I really do try to listen to suggestions that clients make. I think my husband wishes I would listen to him a little more, but I save all my listening skills for the stores. One brand that people have asked for time and time again is Brochu Walker. Juliet is probably rolling her eyes, thinking: I have told you this for years!

Well, I finally listened. This fall is the first season we will have Brochu Walker. They are known for their knits and cashmere. When you see the collection, you will understand why. The fabrics are luxurious and cozy at the same time.

When I pick up a new brand, I want them to have "hero" items. To me, that means they have a style or cut that they know looks good, no matter what year or season. I don't think you always have to come up with new designs. I want things that stand the test of time and that we know will fit right and become a staple in clients' wardrobes. Just think the reverse of "fast fashion." Of course, we need excitement too, but that can't be our entire closet.

Their cashmere sweaters are one of their staples, the off the shoulder is a favorite, and we have it coming in later in blue, and then the sweater vests as well. I was so happy to see them as part of the collection since we sold out of our Allude style so quickly, and I don't want our customers to miss out. The Westport pull-on pant I know will become a customer favorite; it reminds me of the billion dollar pant from Frank & Eileen. It is all just effortless.

Personally, I can't wait until October for the cashmere shacket. I know it is the item I will buy this fall that I will just live in. So, shop online or come in and see us.
