Dress Blues

As a child, I would settle down several times a week with coloring books and a 24-box of Crayola crayons. A new box of crayons always excited me…the waxy smell, the crayons perfectly sharpened so I could easily color inside the lines, and several new colors that I always tested first. One color struck me immediately. It was called Midnight Blue and I was so enamored I colored an entire page in this vibrant color. My favorite color was born.Ask me today what my favorite color is and that question is harder to answer; my color palette has expanded. However, blue clothing always catches my eye…and I’m not alone! Several Kiskadee customers have said their entire closet seem to hold this naturally occurring hue. It is the color of the sea and the sky, after all!Blue can be seen as a neutral, especially navy blue. The bonus is this color can be worn year round. Navy is a wonderful transitional color as we make our way into the late summer and fall.
