New Tibi Summer Arrivals at The Hive

Once again, we have another new Tibi delivery arriving in-store. This time it’s the summer delivery, and it is always a favorite of mine. I will admit up front that I am not a huge fan of summer dressing. That might be a terrible sales pitch before I unveil some of our new summer arrivals, but the season just isn’t my thing. I wish I could wear the cute, strappy sundresses that I love to buy for the store, but we all have our anxieties.

This insecurity, I think, is why I always love the Tibi summer collection; it’s what I feel comfortable wearing in the crazy heat. Of course, I always love Tibi, but when it comes to summer dressing, they solve all my problems. One reason is the fabrics. They do great pants and skirts in lightweight nylon, cotton, and silk—easy pull-on versions that make it simple to look put together when it’s 100 degrees out. The summer voile Stella and the silky cotton Winslow will also be on repeat for me.

They do a great short every summer, too, and this year is no exception. I am really excited about the creased stretch crepe short. I have a feeling it will be my favorite and most-worn short of the summer.

Then there are a few pieces I aspire to wear. I’ll have to work up the nerve, but I love the ribbed racerback tank, and the eco poplin strappy top is what summer dressing dreams are made of for me.
