Gift Guide 2: For The Hostess

Like Celeste mentioned previously, we are going to do gift guides for the next few weeks. She already wrote about gifts for the new homeowner. For this guide, I thought I'd show you some ideas for the hostess. Whether you are attending a party or joining for dinner, we have you covered.

I love the home goods that we carry at Kiskadee. They're hidden treasures that make great gifts! If you're in a beverage kind of mood, we have a hot buttered rum mix. Just add rum and hot water, and voila! We also have peppermint and cacao syrup so you can make your own peppermint mocha or a boozy hot chocolate. Pair one of these mixers with the right bottle, and voila! The perfect gift.

Rum, $22.50; Peppermint, $15.98

What about a tray and dip set? I think that would make a great gift, especially if you add some goodies to the tray. If I were feeling ambitious, I'd make a cheeseball to put in this cheeseball dish set. A fun touch would be to add a copy of your favorite recipe.

Tray, $25; Cheese Ball, $29.98

These cocktail glasses are so unique and festive! The glasses by themselves would be a lovely gift, but if you wanted to go the extra mile, you could also include the drink ingredients listed as well.

Eggnog Martini, $15; Peppermint White Russian, $15

If you are looking for something not food-related, we have these fun candles from Soy Much Brighter. I'm always happy to get a candle when I host a get-together. All of the candles in this line smell amazing and are kitschy to boot.

Candles, $22

Come on by and stock up on hostess gifts for the holidays! We can't wait to see you.
