Grateful for Growth
Thanksgiving is a time of year filled with warmth, cheer, and reflection. As the trees change and the cooler weather takes center stage, we hold our loved ones close and look back on the milestones of the past year. Personally, for our team, we have had significant additions; we are grateful for two healthy and happy babies, welcomed by Paige and Brent Armstrong and Maria and Jonathon Ansley. At less than one month old, we are already so in love with Blair Ansley and Ainsley Armstrong. We also grew our team professionally, adding new team member Alia Brahim as our operations coordinator! 2021 has been a year of growth - by all meanings of the word!
This week, we look forward to spending time with the ones we love most, celebrating the blessings of this year, and creating new holiday traditions as our families grow and our communities strengthen. As a business in Alexandria, we are also looking forward to celebrating the local business community on Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday. We’re always so grateful for the Alexandria community and its unwavering support and appreciation for our local businesses. You’ll see us out and about throughout the weekend, but make sure to stop by our friends at Old Town Books, take part in our holiday craft, and celebrate with the South Royal Street Holiday Block Party. Also, keep an eye out for the Elf Patrol, and get excited for Old Town’s many festive events, including Shop Small Week (November 26 - December 2), the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend (December 3 - 4), the Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade (December 4), and many more.
