Hari Mari: Look Good. Feel Good.
When we were at our first men's market in Chicago earlier this year, we were a little lost walking the sales floor. So when we saw a familiar face at W. Kleinberg, it was a bit of a relief. Lauren works with us on the women's line and is the men's representative as well. She helped us find our way and introduced us to the nicest owners of a men's store in Charleston, Jordan Lash. I, of course, went to Instagram to follow them and basically started visiting booths of everyone they posted about. I kept trying to find a flip-flop line called Hari Hari. I couldn't find it anywhere. Then we stumbled across a teeny tiny booth with flip-flops called Hari Mari. Turns out it helps when you have the correct name.
I liked the flip-flops because they looked a little more substantial than the ones I had bought in the past for my husband or son. For years, it seems they always fall apart, or they complain about them not being comfortable. Well, Hari Mari seems to be the solution to my problem. They have a soft-squeeze memory foam toe, memory foam lined straps, and all-day arch support. Oh, and they had great color. To me, they looked a little dressier than a Reef flip-flop and a little more substantial.
I was so happy when they even had a women's selection. They had great colors as well and a style, The Mari, similar to a different brand we use to carry. Very basic and simple that could be worn with everything. They also promised that their toe strap wouldn't break in two, which we had struggled with on other lines. I took two pairs on spring break, a tan Mari and then the more casual Scout, and it was all I needed the entire week. I had never put them on my feet prior to the trip, but they were perfect; no blisters, and my feet didn't hurt at the end of the day, which rarely happens. I can't say enough great things about them. I feel like we really hit the mark with a great new flip-flop line for summer. Now we just need the warm weather.
To help get all our Stylebook readers ready for summer, we are having a sandal sale this weekend. Starting Thursday, May 12, through Sunday, May 15, take 20 percent off all sandals online and in-store.
