Summer’s Must-Have Shorts
Memorial Day is the unofficial kick-off to summer and besides a bathing suit, nothing says summertime like a great pair of shorts. I know not everyone loves shorts like I do, but some days you just have to wear them. It gets so hot and humid here in Alexandria and let’s face it: not all outings are meant for a dress.
This year we have the largest selection of shorts we have ever had. It seems like in years past everyone came in looking and we never had enough, so we decided to make sure that nobody would leave disappointed this year. Of course, we have denim shorts, and after years of buying all sorts of cut-offs, we realized the Parker from Agolde is just the best option around. As a result, we have it in lots of colors. We also got a longer style, the Bristol, for those who want a little more coverage, along with a version with a finished seam.
Last year, before we carried Apiece Apart, I bought a pair of their drawstring shorts and wore them all the time. So, when we started carrying them this year I knew we had to stock up on their shorts. They are my absolute favorite. We have other great casual options from Xirena, Isabel Marant, and Ulla Johnson.
