How To Win Mother's Day: Wish Lists & Crafts in the Courtyard
Every Mother’s Day I used to say to my father, “What are we getting mom.” To which he would reply, “I don’t know, she isn’t my mother.”Of course as the date got closer he would pack my siblings and me in the car and take us to Talbots or Lazarus, the local department store, and we would pick something out for her. As we got older, we took matters into our own hands an usually picked something up from the store I worked at in high school. I have no idea if she actually liked any of it. I mean, I am sure she appreciated it, but it would have been easier if I knew what she wanted. We decided to solve this problem for all the kids and moms out there. We always have wish lists at Christmas time, so why don’t we have them for Mother’s Day? Well, now we do. Stop in and let us know what you like and we will take it from there. Or if you have a difficult mom to shop for, send her in and ask her to fill out a list so she gets something she loves.I also know that little kids love making stuff for their moms. I always love the look on my kids' faces when they handed me something they made at school. SO proud. The Saturday before Mother’s Day, May 12, we will have crafts in the courtyard from 10am to 1pm.I asked some of our most stylish moms to fill out their wish lists, just to get the ideas flowing. We also have special gift wrap just for Mother’s Day.[divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"][divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"] [divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"][divider height="30" style="default" line="default" themecolor="0"]
