If It’s Good Enough For Mila And Ashton…

In the June issue of Architectural Digest, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher opened up their home in the Hills above Hollywood for all the world to see. And, let me tell you what, it was a joy to behold. The dynamic duo worked with architect Howard Backen of Backen & Gillam Architects and interior designer Stephanie Gerwin to create from the ground up a beautiful – and beautifully sustainable – home that combines elegant touches to a decidedly rustic shell. After I closed my mouth and wiped the drool from my chin, I was struck by how much Cisco Home furniture was incorporated into the house. But, of course, a sustainable house needs sustainable furniture, right?!

Today, I wanted to share with you a few of the Cisco Home pieces that made it into the spread. First is the Luccia Loveseat. In their home, they didn’t tuft the piece, which is always something you can do with Cisco. Their furniture is highly customizable, which is a benefit when you’re trying to furnish a small Old Town row house or a giant house in California. The Luccia loveseat starts at $4185 but during our upholstery sale, which we just extended until the end of September, starts at $3013.

Next up is the O’Hara bed in their primary bedroom. Here they did not eliminate the tufting, and I’m so glad they kept it. I love how there is this posh elegant bed against all the roughhewn reclaimed wood walls. The juxtaposition is amazing. Almost as good as the giant chandelier in the entry and the luxe velvet upholstery in the great room. The O’Hara bed starts at $4230, but during the sale, it starts at $3046.

Tucked in the background in this picture is the Blossom Chandelier. The wrought iron simplicity of this piece is perfect for the rustic foyer. Hanging above an antique table, it’s a lovely pairing that greets you upon entering the home. While not part of our upholstery sale, it’s still worth a peek.

Finally, the showstopping sofa on the cover of the magazine, the Allister. Part of Cisco’s Environment collection, the Allister is as comfortable and sustainable as it is effortlessly cool. At a cool 101”, this bad boy serves up some serious style. It starts at $5310 for an upholstered version (the one here is slipcovered), but during the sale, it starts at $3823.

If you want Hollywood glamour, then look no further. You, too, can be as chic and California cool as Mila and Ashton, right here in Alexandria! Take a look at Cisco Home’s website and then stop in to talk to one of our team members. We would love to help you find just the right piece for your home!
