Join Upcoming Donation Classes At Mind The Mat For Spring2ACTion!

Our number one value at Mind the Mat is connecting with our community. That core value includes so many other values like inclusion, support, care, generating joy and fun, and working within our larger community to bring health through movement to Alexandria's citizens beyond our brick-and-mortar doors.

Over the years, Megan and I have chosen to support non-profit organizations in Alexandria that truly make a difference in our community.  One of those organizations is RunningBrooke. RunningBrooke is a non-profit organization that changes the lives of kids in Alexandria.

Current research shows that kids need to move their bodies to stay healthy and be learning-ready in academic settings. RunningBrooke has successfully outfitted Alexandria Public School classrooms with active seating, stationary bikes, and movement-oriented tool kits.  Teachers are reporting that RunningBrooke's efforts have directly contributed to students having improved test scores and increased interest and enthusiasm for learning.

For us, supporting RunningBrooke's mission is an easy YES! because Mind the Mat is committed to offering safe, functional, and effective movement for people of all ages. So join us in our effort to spring into action for Alexandria's kids by signing up for one of the following donation classes.  All proceeds will go directly to RunningBrooke.

Thank you! Mind the Mat, RunningBrooke, and Alexandria's kids appreciate you!
