Lug Soles, The Ultimate Winter Trend

Truth be told, it has taken me quite some time to get on board with lug sole shoes. I ordered a few for the store last year, but didn’t buy any for myself. Then, when I went to the February Market last year, I noticed that everyone was wearing them.

After seeing lug sole shoes styled in so many ways, I finally understood the hype – they were really cute! Beyond being cute, they are definitely the most practical winter shoe choice. The added thickness of the sole makes them comfortable and protects you from the winter elements! They also help if you want to add a little bit of height, which is never a bad thing.

I first dipped my foot in the lug sole pool with some tan loafers from AGL that go with everything. Next up, I tried Aquatalia lug soles in black combat style. I’m so ready for some cooler weather so I can wear them with tights and skirts. I’m already envisioning that my pleated Tibi skirt, a big chunky sweater, and a pair of lug sole boots will be my “vibe” (as my daughter says) for the winter.
