Comfortable Heels (For Real): Don't Miss The Marion Parke Trunk Show

Having two stores is like having two children. Sometimes I feel bad when I start to pay too much attention to one store and not enough to the other! Well, that has definitely been true for The Shoe Hive in September. I have been focusing all my attention on the clothing store and well, it has to change and this week it will.We are hosting a trunk show for one of our most popular and comfortable lines, Marion Parke. When we say “comfort shoe,” we don’t mean rubber soled flats (well she actually did make her first flat and it is amazing). We are talking stunning heels that can sit next to any luxury brand like Jimmy Choo or Manolo Blahnik. Marion Parke’s shoes are made in Italy just like those other brands, but here is the difference: she has transformed the insole into a discreet orthotic. She can do this because she is a former podiatrist. She understands what makes a foot hurt and she makes shoes to prevent that from happening.I personally own 4 pairs of the Bernadette. It is the only heel I can work in all day from 10am to 7pm and go out to dinner after and not want to cut my feet off. Last year, Marion introduced the Must Have in a 85mm or 45mm heel. They are the perfect pointed-toe heel. This year she introduced a flat as well.  This is going to become my new shoe that I buy in bulk. Our wonderful brand rep, Stephanie will be here Thursday night to kick-off the event and will be there Friday as well.Stephanie will be brining extra inventory of shoes we don’t normally have along with samples of shoes we do have in different colors and fabrics. And just like we do with most trunk shoes, all Marion Parke will be 20 percent off starting Thursday, October 3rd - Sunday, October 6th.If you want to learn more about this great brand, Forbes did a wonderful article on her this past winter and you may have noticed she has recently been picked up by Neiman Marcus –not that I am encouraging you to shop there! We are just so excited to see this wonderful brand grow and succeed.
