Mark Your Calendars, The AGL Trunk Show Is Here!

I still can’t believe that two years ago, The Hive and The Shoe Hive were not the super spreader events of Alexandria. We always kick off March with two big trunk shows, the first being AGL and the second Veronica Beard. In 2020 they were huge! Especially Veronica, the store evoked the feeling of a nightclub at moments. It was so fun. We had our sales reps from both lines come down from New York. As I said, I can’t believe we didn’t spread Covid. But the success of those two events ironically helped my business survive through Covid - and I am grateful. As I tracked our sales throughout the rest of the first Covid year, you could always see the lasting impact of the spike from those two great weekends before the world shut down.

Here we are two years later, and it is time for our Spring Trunk Show series to kick off with AGL on Thursday, March 2. We will have a huge spring selection of our inventory along with samples from Italy that you can special order. Of course, the best part is it will all be 20 percent off through Sunday, March 5. We decided to show everyone some great ways to style the shoes, both casual and dressier. I am even guilty of keeping my heels (despite them always being lower ones) in their shoeboxes for way too long. Of course, when we needed a model, we called up no other the Courtney Rivkin. She is becoming the face of The Hive, and we couldn’t be happier about it. She is always willing to help out, and she always looks amazing.

This year’s Veronica show is a little later in the year due to some delayed deliveries, and hoping someone from Veronica will be there as well. Stay tuned for a list of all our trunk shows.
