Hello, everyone! Do you know what day it is? Because I don’t! I really have no idea. It could be Sunday, or Friday, or Monwedsmonth. I forgot our wall calendar in Old Town, so I have nothing.And if I can’t even tell you which day it is, do you think I have the ability to tell you the date? As if. I had to look it up for this post and imagine my surprise when I learned we are at the end of April! As in, Mother’s Day (another date I had to research for this post) is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Who knew!Honestly, I would wager that unless it’s your job to keep track of these things (which, technically, it was part of mine until I suddenly found myself sans preschool and knee-deep in a cabin renovation during a pandemic), most mothers out there are probably equally in the dark about how quickly this holiday is approaching. We are too busy keeping some semblance of sort-of order in our quickly dissolving households while balancing the various duties of employment, ensuring sufficient Facetiming with quarantined grandparents, and Googling pre-schooling tips.
