My Favorite Sale Pieces At The Nest
It’s post-holiday sale time at Kiskadee, so I thought I’d tell you about some of my favorite sale items. We generally only get one size of everything, so it’s lucky sizes only.
First up is a Lilla P oversized turtleneck sweater. I’m a big Lilla P fan because she makes really classic items but always adds an interesting twist or detail - in this case, it’s the three-quarter length sleeve that elevates an otherwise ordinary tweed sweater. Not only do the sleeves add visual interest, but I find them functional as well. I often find wool sweaters too hot to wear indoors, but the slightly shorter sleeve makes this far more comfortable and wearable. Size large remaining.
This Seeing Stars Sweater by Never a Wallflower is ah-mazing. The color is gorgeous, the sequined stars add just enough sparkle, and the tie detail at the waist adds some shape and visual interest. It’s made of the softest cashmere, too. This is such a unique sweater, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it. It’s an investment piece for sure, but I think it’s timeless, and we have small and medium remaining - and it’s on sale!
This Julie Brown dress is gorgeous. The color! The midi-dress style is so current. I love that you could wear this dress to work, assuming you actually put on something other than sweatpants to go to work, but it also doubles as a party dress. It’s just so pretty, and I’m really missing wearing pretty clothes lately. Only medium left!
Speaking of dresses, I really like this Bishop Sleeve Sweater Dress by THML. The animal print is so fun, and I love the pop of yellow. I think dresses are so easy in the winter because you just add leggings and boots, and you’ve got a great outfit with minimal effort!
If you’re still in sweatpants all the time, I invite you to try our Michael Stars long sleeve hoodie and pull-on pants made of soft terry. The wide-legged silhouette makes these cozy pants more modern and less sweat pant-y, and they are so comfortable.
