Nashville Field Trip

I like to take a work centric field trip in January. I use it as a moment to get out of town and spend a few days by myself. It helps to regroup after the holidays. This time, I decided to go to Nashville so I could check out the Draper James flagship store. It’s been such a huge hit with our customers that I really wanted to see all of the inventory and how they merchandise it. In addition to clothing and pajamas, the brand offers fun gift items such as coasters, trinket trays, pens, etc.  They also have a line of accessories that includes jewelry, sunglasses, and purses. I wanted to see these items to get an idea as to the quality and look of them. Often times, you can order a something from a sample, but when it actually arrives in the store it can be a bit disappointing. It really does help to see the actual post-production product in person.  The bags were classic and the leather felt high-quality to me. I really loved all of the sunglasses and even bought a pair! They had a large selection of game-day themed items as well. I especially loved the clear stadium totes and water bottles. I will have to talk to my rep about possibly carrying some of these fun items in the future.  The store itself was nestled in the cute 12 South neighborhood of Nashville. Surrounded by tasty restaurants and other boutiques, it was a fun place to walk around. The store was lovely, and I found the sales associates to be friendly and helpful. The offer of a cup of sweet tea was also appreciated. If you ever find yourself in Nashville, I highly recommend a trip to the store.
