Introducing Our New Designer Interview Series

To me, feeling a connection with your jewelry is vital. Fine jewelry tells a story on its own with silent words articulated through design and style, begging the viewer to ask, “Where did you get that?” Cue your story - perhaps it was given to you by your grandmother on your wedding day, or you purchased it for yourself when you hit a milestone at work, or you found it while shopping with your best friend in the cutest little store. One of the goals I have had with our shop is to always encourage this story to develop. I treasure the special experience our clients have when shopping with us - the singular search for something different and compelling while feeling completely at home in our little showroom. It was with this goal in mind that I sourced our newest collections, and I am so excited to share these treasures with you.  Moving forward, our little showroom will feature the talents of independent jewelers from across the globe, creating a veritable gallery of fine jewelry to explore and experience. I have spent the last few months researching and forming relationships with these amazing designers and feel incredibly fortunate to share their work with you now. I kept an eye out for designers who not only share an authentic, unique vision, but who also create approachable pieces that women would feel comfortable wearing. No surprise here - all of our newest designers are, in fact, women, because who knows better than someone who wears these pieces herself?! And, with an eye always towards improving our own ethical impact, all our designers fabricate their collections from ethically sourced materials and using minimally impactful methods of fabrication. We are the exclusive carrier of each of these designers within the D.C. area and many of the pieces are completely one-of-a-kind, so you know your jewelry story is yours alone.  Over the next few weeks, I’ll share with you interviews I held with each of our featured designers to help you get to know them both through their work and their words. I hope you enjoy getting to know their stories as much as I have and find inspiration in their beautiful jewelry as well!
